Hayden, ID – October 29, 2020 – PropertySync, a cloud-based SaaS title plant platform, announced today that David Floyd has been named chief executive officer for the company. Floyd’s employment with PropertySync will begin in November 2020.
“We are thrilled to welcome David to PropertySync,” said Jason Kimmel, president of PropertySync. “With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, David has a deep understanding of the role effective title plants play in an agent’s operation. His passion for automation and efficiency will help us introduce new customers to the benefits of a cloud-based title plant system like PropertySync.”
Prior to joining PropertySync, Floyd served as chief operating officer for NextAce Corporation and was previously President of SKLD Title Services.
“PropertySync offers security, reliability, and scalability so that companies of any size can compete with even the largest of title agents,” said David Floyd, PropertySync CEO. “I’m eager to show more customers the power PropertySync can bring to their title company. Our developers and leadership aren’t outsiders, they have served this industry for decades. PropertySync offers a tested tool to help title companies harness the power of the data in their existing title plants.”
“Title plants aren’t just a necessary evil in this business—they’re a gold mine of information if you have the right tools to use them effectively,” Floyd says. “I look forward to helping independent title agents see that automation and efficiencies in their title plant software can lead to benefits in other parts of their business too.”
Floyd hopes to use his CEO role at PropertySync to help further the adoption of new technology in the title industry. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused companies in every market, and at every size, to reconsider what tools they need to do business. Floyd says this momentum isn’t stopping anytime soon.
“I know that when our title customers are busy it’s hard to focus on adopting new software, training, and even marketing,” said Floyd. “However, the time to embrace streamlined services like PropertySync is now. Our cloud-based software means that you don’t have the same headaches for adoption like you might with in-house software. PropertySync identifies areas for efficiencies in your existing workflow instead of teaching you a new way to do business.”
Floyd is an active member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA), serving as chair of the Real Property Records Committee and PRIA Liaison Work Groups. He is also a member of the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) and the Association for Title Information Management (ATIM).
